Shopify & Monday.com Automation Flow - Explained
Managing e-commerce orders manually is time-consuming and prone to error. To solve this, we built two Make.com scenarios that seamlessly connect Shopify with Monday.com, ensuring your team always has accurate, up-to-date order information.
Scenario 1: Create New Orders in Monday.com Automatically
- De-duplication: only creates the order if it doesn’t already exist in Monday.
- Full order detail: Captures customer info, shipping address, and order totals.
- Sub-items for products: Each product line item is added as a sub-item with its own "SKU" and "Quantity", so your production or fulfillment team can see exactly what was ordered.
Scenario 2: Auto-Fulfill Shopify Orders from Monday.com
- Watches a specific group in Monday for orders marked as "Delivered".
- Once detected, it triggers a fulfillment update in Shopify, ensuring the customer is notified and your store stays in sync.
- Only runs on the target group, giving you precise control over which orders get fulfilled.
- Benefit: No more toggling between tools. Your operations team simply updates the status in Monday, and Shopify fulfillment is handled automatically in the background.
🚀 Why This Matters:
- ✅ Together, these two scenarios remove the friction between sales and operations.
- ✅ Orders appear in Monday the moment they’re placed.
- ✅ Fulfillment happens in Shopify as soon as your team marks them delivered.
- ✅ Human error is reduced, customers are updated faster, and your team saves hours every week.
